Our tarpaulins are upcycled into unique bags and accessories!

Stylish bags and accessories made of upcycled tarpaulins.

Every year, the STIB-MIVB uses large quantities of tarpaulin on its construction sites to provide information about ongoing refurbishment or construction works to local residents and travellers.  The tarpaulins are only used during these works and are disposed of afterwards.

But upcycling is much better, all the more so when done locally!

In collaboration with a Brussels-based social enterprise, we have decided to give a second life to these tarpaulins by turning them into stylish new items.

This collection of unique and design pieces with their streamlined shapes is being created in L'Ouvroir through upcycling of our supplies

 (tarpaulins, certain fabrics and leathers). 
Our nadar shopping bags and laptop covers are practical, resistant and original.

A real opportunity for us to create design objects that are useful and eco-friendly while participating in a social and circular economy!

A way of responsible consumption, fully in line with soft modes of transport.

Although our products are upcycled items, some of the materials used in their manufacturing are of course new, such as the thread, the adhesive straps and the zips.
